Profile Benjamin Giraud
Benjamin is a new French addition to the Raffemet Family. A seasoned risk manager, Ben is looking after our metal price and forex related activities and is intricately involved in trade finance. He is a cosmopolitan traveler, raised in the French West Indies, studied in Bordeaux and worked in Paris, Montreal, Toronto and Geneva before landing in The Hague. From the beginning of his career, he’s been captivated by commodity trading and risk, working for a leading industrial company as well as a boutique private equity fund. He’s lately pursued a 4-year incursion in the entrepreneurial world, demonstrating (according to him) a very good adaptability. Always into getting an overview from above, Ben flies small aircrafts as a hobby.
